On Sunday 12th May, Studio 74 was abuzz with excitement as we hosted an extraordinary live painting demonstration by the acclaimed artist Nick Holdsworth. Known for his journey from fashion maverick to celebrated artist, Nick's work has captivated audiences around the globe. His unique blend of digital techniques and traditional mediums pays homage to iconic figures and cultural influences, while offering a fresh and innovative perspective on contemporary art.

Nick’s thoroughly modern and cutting-edge technique combines digital manipulation, witty graphic work, and meticulous hand painting. This complex yet playful creative process adds an unexpected dimension to every portrait he undertakes, making his art both thought-provoking and visually stunning.

As the sun shone down on a beautiful Sunday, collectors and art enthusiasts gathered at Studio 74, sipping on fizz and admiring Nick's groundbreaking technique. A highlight of the event was the unveiling of our exclusive painting for Studio 74: a breathtaking portrayal of the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge. This work, rich in sultry tones and crafted from a mosaic of Banksy's heart balloon, was unveiled for the very first time, leaving everyone in awe.
