The vibrant abstract paintings of South African artist Natasha Barnes are inspired by her travels all over the world. “Every painting is a mood, a reflection of what is happening in my mind. Some days are quiet but every day is a painting, a whole new way of looking at the world.” 

Natasha Barnes' art style has evolved over the years, taking approximately a decade to develop and continuously evolving as artists do. Working primarily with water-based mediums, Natasha applies thick and sometimes textured layers to create dynamic compositions. Her subjects dictate the flow of the paint, leading to forms that transition into the realm of abstraction. Through expressionism and movement, Natasha's large abstract works of colour have become her signature, captivating viewers with their vividness and depth.
