On Wednesday 7th February Studio 74 welcomed internationally acclaimed artist Craig Alan to the gallery for an exclusive evening celebrating his new show ‘Drawing A Crowd’. Over 150 collectors came to celebrate the launch and meet Craig.
The evening kicked off with cocktails crafted by the Clifton Cocktail Club, and an intimate Q&A session with Craig. This was followed by the unveiling of Craig’s new showstopping original mixed media painting ‘Puzzled Heart II’. Through the Q&A, guests had the opportunity to gain insights into the creative process, the inspiration behind the artworks, and his personal journey. The dialogue between the artist and the collectors was both enlightening and enriching, providing a deeper understanding of the pieces on display and deepening the connection between the creator and the audience.
A highlight of the evening was the unveiling of a birthday surprise as Craig presented one of our clients with an original ‘Perspectrum’ that had been secretly purchased by her partner before the show. It was a real joy for us to be part of such an unforgettable and touching moment.
The evening reminded us of the transformative power of art and the importance of working together to celebrate the bigger picture. Special thanks to Craig Alan, and to our passionate collectors.
