Born into a family of Cornish pirates and smugglers Emma developed an obsession with treasures & misdemeanours early on in life. She creates show stopping artworks out of miniature hand-crafted components, often involving precious and curious materials.
Influences
Emma worked for Damien Hirst for a total of 7 years – including the installation and exhibition of his infamous For The Love of God diamond encrusted skull at its UK unveiling at White Cube Gallery, London. She also worked as a painter for the Chapman Brothers on their epic installation Fucking Hell.
Emma's 2023 solo show BARBIECORE (ME Hotel, Stand) received widespread critical acclaim and was featured in Hello! magazine & Harper's Bazaar. She was interviewed by both Sky News & the BBC; discussing Barbie's phenomenal appeal and long-lasting feminist ideology.
Achievements
Emma has been widely exhibited at Art Fairs including AAF London, New York & Amsterdam. She has been involved in group shows at London’s Institute of Contemporary Art, produced illustrations for the Sherlock Holmes museum and had artwork published in Time Out Magazine. Her work has been bought by clients and collectors all over the world, including Hollywood superstar Margot Robbie, Zoe Ball, Danny Dyer & Dawn French.
