Guitar - Original Sculpture by Yuvi
Something for the music lovers... this iconic piece by Yuvi is completely unique with iconic personalities from history and the modern day hand painted onto a guitar. Set in a black frame, the piece is an exquisite talking point for any home.
About
Yuvi's main inspiration are the streets themselves, directing his work to his experiences of popular culture and bringing authentic street art scenes alive on canvas. His street inspired art has won him exhibitions and admirers all over the world, from New York to New Delhi.
Yuvi, whose real name is Yuvraj Khanna, was born and raised in New York City. Growing up in the bustling metropolis, he was surrounded by the vibrant street art scene. He was drawn to the bold colours and expressive styles of graffiti. Creating graffiti at a young age, using spray paint and stencils to create his own designs on walls in his neighbourhood.
Style
Yuvi's style is heavily influenced by graffiti, but he also incorporates elements of pop art into his work. His pieces often feature bright, bold colors and bold lines, with a mix of abstract and figurative elements. He also incorporates stenciling and collage techniques into his work, creating layers and depth in his pieces.
Superheroes, scientists, artists, movie stars, animals – all these and many more subjects make appearances in his work. Using humour and defiance, he gives an artistic voice to his world view, exploring issues which he cares passionately about, from social criticism to iconic homage, in his deeply personal language.
